Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest.

Commentary

Here’s a warning against being lazy as humans. If you feel like being lazy, then consider the insignificant ants. The voluntarily, diligently save for hard times ahead. If ants are disciplined and intelligent enough to have an emergency fund, then so are you!
