The Lord detests dishonest scales, but accurate weights find favor with him.

Commentary

Don’t misrepresent your goods and services. Dishonest scales make something big seem small, or something small seem big. The trade isn’t fair and dishonest scales are basically theft. If you’re selling your used car, don’t lie about its condition – be honest. Regardless of its condition, there is a fair price for it. But if you trick someone into buying your car telling them it’s great, when you know it’s junky, you’re taking their money but not giving them what you said.
