Commentary

When the unexpected happens, a buffer between you and the situation can help prevent a bad situation from turning to disaster. If you’re reading this, you’re probably rich by any objective standard of rich (even if you don’t think you’re rich compared to your neighbor.) So, you have a fortified city between you and life. However, because we don’t pay attention, we often leave the gate to the city open by not having an emergency fund.
