Commentary

In Paul’s most encouraging letter, he writes to the church in Philippi. Paul is thanking the church there for providing for his needs. But greater than that, he tells that he’s had times of plenty and times of want. Paul learned to be content regardless of his situation. God strengthened him through it all. Nonetheless, Paul is thankful God’s provision through the Philippian church.
